furniture shopping with a compulsive buyer also called mom

the reconstruction of our house is almost done so the next task would be stuffing it with decent furniture. we decided to buy new ones because the-morning-after left all the stuff with a stinking smell. my guess is some stuarts made camp in one of the sofas and turned a part of it into their memorial garden. nyahaha.

so there. new furnitures. aight.

last sunday, mom and i headed straight to home ideas for window shopping. my, mom was like a delirious kid who wanted to buy the w.h.o.l.e. store. first stop was at the tiles section. we picked this nice, brick-like tile with earth colors. the guy at the sales section was saying something like its supposed to be an outdoor tile but mom was already dashing to the furniture section. hay!

while looking at the sala sets, my mother saw this cute rocking chair which is "perfect for my nanay!" according to this compulsive buyer. wala yun sa plano but she wanted to buy it "now na!" juskolawrd, nanay ko ba ito?!

yesterday while at work, i received an sms from her.

nabili ko na rocking chair ni nanay nagdown na din ako dun sa sala set yung tiles sa sat na lang paguwi mo

its my birthday!

i turned 16 yesterday!wuhoo.

10 years ago, that is.haha.

i over-analyze things.i am always conscious about gender sensitivity and social equality. i am always frowning about inconsistencies, inefficiencies and everything out of order. i am a control freak.i am oc. big time.

thats why i am hard to please.i get disappointed most of the time.

• MS in Environmental Science, will probably specialize in any of the following:

>> environmental planning & management
>> community-based resource management
>> protected areas management

• culinary arts!!! i say no more.
