this war is getting too personal for me. i have friends, officemates who still continue to go to work despite the ongoing war in the area. just now im talking to one of my closest friends there, and she's telling me the ground is shaking whenever a bomb is dropped. one time they got stranded on the way home because there's an ongoing encounter in pikit. she says that rocket propelled grenades pass through the main highway. sori ka na lang kung matyempuhan na dumadaan sinasakyan niyo habang may padaan din na rpg.
i am also leading a study on bangsamoro women farmers and we are supposed to interview these women all over armm but cant do so because of the situation in the area.
i just hope this would soon come to a peaceful end.
